Stithprajna
When a person is at their highest point, ego begins to grow within. Ego is directly rooted in fear—the fear of losing one’s identity, relationships, or social image. This fear drives a false identification with the body and mind.
Ego whispers: “I am in control, I am superior, I cannot be wrong.” Yet deep inside, it trembles – afraid of losing approval, status, or security.
Similarly, when a person is at their lowest point, pain begins to rise within. Pain too is connected to fear – the fear of insecurities, rejection, and helplessness.
In both extremes, the root cause is the same: the mind.
The mind can be the greatest friend of the soul, or its worst enemy.
So here when a person is not affected by his highs and lows,he is just going with the flow, here the the situation is stated as “Stithprajna”
